I am Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker with a Master Degree from the University of Washington

I have been working in healthcare for over 20 years, with experience working with chronic illness, chronic pain, trauma, anxiety, ADHD, families, individuals, and couples. Through my work Veterans, First Responders and Trauma survivors, I have learned and experienced myself the power of neurofeedback.  I have dedicated my study and career to healing and understanding how the brain works. I use my knowledge of brain science integrated with cutting edge, advanced, state of the art neuropsychological qEEG brain mapping and neurofeedback to achieve healing for my patients. I have a passion for seeing neuroplasticity in action.

Katie Long

Neurofeedback Technician

I found my way to clinical neuroscience by way of working in chemistry and toxicology laboratories, hospitals, and psychology. I hold a master’s in forensic psychology and spent the past few years working in psychology in the legal realm. My interests in the hard sciences and the mind culminate in neuroscience.

I am a neuro tech because I am passionate about your brain—the complex organ that makes you, you. Your brain can explain a lot about your behavior and daily life—from your energy level to intentions and decision making. As a neuro tech, I work with you to conduct brain mapping and neurofeedback. Neurofeedback, or “brain training,” is neural operant conditioning that enables you to have control of your brain activity to change your behavior and improve your functioning and quality of life. I am intentional in my work to make your experience as productive and comfortable as possible. I’m devoted to the field, and am currently working on a second master’s in clinical neuroscience.

Personally, I spend my time hiking with my two big dogs and pursuing education in neuroscience.

I look forward to helping you understand how your brain impacts your functioning and improve your life.
